Announcement
Over the years I've been inspired to paint watercolors and acrylic paintings of mostly the tropics I enjoy so much. Now those images are available as small prints and blank greeting cards. Tell me what you think!!
I love the tropics. I want my quilts to reflect the colorful essence of nature. I use mostly batik fabrics with accents of ribbon and sometimes beads. Now I'm enjoying experimenting with satins and dance fabrics that have glitz and glamor to bring out the wet feel of the tropics. Yes, I may add a shell here or there. Can I combine the two types of fabrics? OOOh the ideas coming out of my head.
I, also, have a spiritual side that loves the old gospel songs. I will be making and remaking quilts with the theme of Jacob's Ladder and Ezekeil's Wheel.
Shows I've been in the last several years include Mid Atlantic, National Quilters (NQA), Cox Fine Arts at the Ohio State Fair (for 3 years now), and several local art exhibits in Columbus, OH. I now belong to AQA, AQN, and SAQA. Love meeting and sharing with all these great quilters.
See me in process by googling wosu's program Broad and High. Search for the westerville quilt maker.
Hope you come back often to see many new things in the works.

5 out of 5 starsIt looks exactly like the picture, I love it and would order from Barbara again. I wanted tabs added so I could hang it on my quilt rack, she did it for me and mailed it promptly. Looks great hanging on my wall.
